The game is objectively one of the most polished platforming experiences of all time. The game is extremely engaging with how you interact with everything in the environment and all of these things are reflected with the gameplay and your controller. One of the hallmarks of Astro Bot is how advanced the haptic feedback is. Literally everything you do in the game is felt through your controller! Makes having a PS5 so worth it. Walking on metal, you feel metal, walking through grass, you feel grass, etc. There's so much interactivity and you have to use your controller in different and novel ways to progress in the game.
In addition to how technically advanced the game is, it's extremely fun and each area has you play with a different mechanic to keep things exciting and fresh. There are a lot of callbacks to other games if you're into that sort of thing and the developers have even implemented mechanics from others games into Astro Bot. I won't spoil which games, but they're pretty good!
All in all amazing game, every PS5 owner should at least try it. There's literally nothing like it out there.
