Keep your compatible MacBook or other supported USB-C device powered with the Apple 96W USB-C Power Adapter. Set it up at your desk or use it as a charging solution away from home, paired with a suitable cable for your device.
Power for Your Everyday Setup
Up to 96W output: Supplies charging power to compatible devices up to the adapter’s rated maximum.
USB-C charging connection: Connect a suitable USB-C charging cable that matches your device’s port and power requirements.
Compatible-device charging: Suitable for supported MacBook models and other USB-C devices that accept compatible charging input.
Flexible workspace: Use it to recharge your laptop and supply power while you work, study, or browse.
Check Your Charging Setup
Match the adapter to your device’s charging requirements and use a cable rated for the power your device needs. A USB-C port alone does not guarantee compatibility with every device or charging mode. For a MacBook with MagSafe 3, use the appropriate USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable; supported USB-C charging setups use a suitable USB-C charging cable.
Charging Performance
The 96W rating is the adapter’s maximum output, not the power delivered to every device. Actual charging speed depends on the connected device, cable, battery level, temperature, and usage. Fast charging is available only where supported by the complete charging setup.
