After leaving the exciting world of stock car racing, you joined up with the cops to become one of the most feared drivers on the police force. Now it's time to go undercover to infiltrate a crime syndicate in Miami. You're responsible for the getaways -- you are the wheelman in Driver for the PlayStation.

From the people who brought you the Destruction Derby games, Driver offers freeform driving through the streets of famous American cities. You're going to run into a little competition, though -- cops and civilian drivers are also populating the streets. If the situation of pedestrian involvement is not handled properly, things are liable to get nasty.

Driver also offers a story mode that follows your quest to the top of the criminal echelon, training modes and a free run of the game's environments. There is also support for Sony's Dual Shock Analog Controller with vibration effects for those nasty paint scratch-ups!

With a funky '70s soundtrack and plenty of muscle cars to drive around in, Driver aims to give you all the fun of getaway driving without the scars on your criminal record!
