Keep using compatible Lightning accessories with a supported USB-C-equipped iPhone or iPad. The Apple USB-C to Lightning Adapter connects to your device’s USB-C port and provides a Lightning port for supported charging, data, and audio connections.
Connect Your Lightning Accessories
USB-C device connection: Plugs into a compatible USB-C-equipped iPhone or iPad.
Lightning accessory port: Accepts compatible Lightning cables and accessories.
Charging support: Use a suitable Lightning charging cable and power source with a supported device.
Data and audio: Supports compatible Lightning accessories for data transfer or audio, depending on the accessory and host device.
Make Use of Your Existing Setup
Keep a compatible Lightning accessory in your everyday routine when moving to a supported USB-C device. The adapter bridges the connector difference without the HDMI and USB-A ports of a multiport hub.
Compatibility
Designed for supported USB-C-equipped iPhone and iPad models and compatible Lightning accessories. Accessory functionality depends on the device, software, and accessory requirements. The connection runs from a USB-C host to a Lightning accessory; it is not a USB-C power adapter, a USB-C to Lightning charging cable, or an HDMI adapter.
