Stellar Blade is a breath of fresh air.

The game is packed with impressive visuals and stunning art work. It's a got a great mixture of game mechanics reminiscent of souls like games. The combat is very engaging, stylish, and satisfying. There's a lot of emphasis on timing your blocks and dodges. Lore and setting is intriguing and can get you hooked. The side quests aren't tedious fetch quests, but let you better understand the world around you and its inhabitants. Last but not least the character models are spectacular, including the main protagonist Eve. Beautifully crafted. You can't go wrong with this one if you're craving a darker, slightly difficult sci-fi action RPG. My only gripe is that the English voice acting can be a bit lackluster or off putting in my opinion so if you don't mind listening to the the Korean (game's country of origin) voice over then that is a better choice, as the voices fit the characters better visually and convey emotion better.
